Mole & Lesion Check (for referral if needed)

We offer comprehensive mole and skin lesion checks for clients concerned about new, changing, or unusual skin marks. Early detection is key — and even benign lesions can impact confidence if they are raised, discoloured, or cosmetically prominent.

As part of our commitment to clinical accuracy and patient safety, we work with Map My Mole, a secure community dermatology reporting platform, which allows us to submit high-quality dermatoscopic images for remote dermatologist assessment when needed. This ensures fast, accurate feedback on any lesions of concern — without unnecessary delays or referrals.

What We Assess

New or changing moles
Irregular borders or asymmetry
Bleeding, itching, or non-healing lesions
Raised or pigmented areas with unclear diagnosis
Skin tags, age spots, keratoses, cherry angiomas, and other benign growths

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your appointment includes:

Clinical skin examination
Dermatoscopic imaging of any suspicious or unclear lesions
Discussion of your history, skin type, sun exposure, and family risk
Optional referral through Map My Mole for expert dermatology review
If appropriate: in-clinic removal of benign lesions using CryoPen®, Plasma BT Surgical, or topical treatments

For lesions that are benign but bothersome, cosmetic removal can often be scheduled at your convenience. For anything suspicious, you’ll be offered prompt referral for NHS or private dermatology follow-up.

This gives our clients reassurance, rapid access, and informed next steps — without needing to wait for GP referral pathways.

Aftercare and Monitoring

You’ll receive advice on:

Ongoing mole monitoring and self-checking
Sun protection and skin health
When to rebook or follow up

We also provide regular skin reviews if you have multiple moles or a history of sun damage.
